Let me start by saying that I love my work.  And when people love what they do for a living, they do a good job.  I became a judicially trained interpreter at Southern California School of Interpretation which has allowed me to work in many legal settings as well as other venues as is detailed in my Specialties. I grew up in San Jose and I have my office here, but my work takes me all over the Bay Area.  As I said earlier, I love my work and I'm also a little obsessive about it.  To me, interpreting is an art and so I'm always thinking about better ways to use words; better ways to convey expressions with just the right shade of meaning. Working as an interpreter is exciting but most of all rewarding, because you get to be the bridge that helps people come together to resolve issues that are very important to them.
